Our software packages are updated periodically. We encourage you to check this page routinely for the latest release information and updates.

The following updates are password secured and are available for your access to provide you with current versions of our applications. To download one or more of these files obtain a password for the download by filling out the password request form.

GMS for Windows 5.0

This update adds:
bulletAdds extended comprehensive data transfer capabilities.

bulletResolves several small operational issues.

NOTE: This update requires that you run UPDATE5.EXE found in your \GMSW5 directory after installation of this update. This utility converts your v5.0.1 or v5.0.0 data files to file structures used by 5.0.2. Failure to update your file structures will result in operational errors. Just double click UPDATE5.EXE and follow the directions to complete the update. It just takes a minute to work. 

This update includes these changes from prior updates:
bulletResolves issues with the PM Manager deletion of devices.
bulletResolves issues with the PM Data screen.
bulletResolves issues with the Device Manager display of the issued person following calibrations, issues, or additions.
bulletRevised WSSETUP.EXE to correct errors in link creation.

WSSETUP Issue: In the duplication of GMS for Windows 5 CDs, a duplication issue caused installation files for WS Setup on some CDs to be corrupted. If you have experienced any issues running GMSW 5 from workstations configured with WSSETUP, please download this version of WSSETUP and reinstall it on each involved workstation. This patch requires version 4.0 to already be installed and working. Download this patch to obtain the latest refinements to GMS for Windows. This contains all updated program and system files but does not contain data files. These files are contained in a self extracting installer.

Copy the downloaded file into a temporary directory and execute it to install the update. Be sure to install to the directory where GMSW4 is installed.

Users of GMS 4.0.5 & higher may down load a new Getting Started Guide and User Guide in PDF format for printing. 

Users without high speed or broadband access to the web may order this update on CD along with the new manuals. To order this Update have your credit card (Visa, MasterCard, American Express) ready and click Order Update CD & Manuals. Cost for the CD is $45.00. A printed Getting Started Manual is $25.00 and a printed User Guide is $45.00. (Plus $10.00 shipping and handling charge.)

User RESET Utility for GMS

This utility requires version 3, 4, or 5 to already be installed and working.

Download this utility to automatically reset all user status files in GMS. This utility is an alternate to the traditional User Reset parameter added to the command line of GMS on startup. Place the file when unzipped in your \GMSWx directory. This file is contained in a self extracting zip file.

Note: Support for GMS for Windows v3.0 has ended. We encourage all users to upgrade to v5. All of your data transfers fully into v5. You loose nothing but gain many new features and significantly improved usability.
